Title: My betta went to the Bridge today...
prettykitty - February 7, 2007 04:52 AM (GMT)
I woke up this morning and knew almost instantly that he, (my betta) was doing well. I saw he didn't eat his food from the night before, then he was swimming funny and about a 1/2 later, he was at the bottom of his tank... :( I hope it's not something that I did...my last betta lived for 5 years..he was flushed a few hours ago, I miss seeing him swimming around in his tank...rest in peace little guy... :(

:comfort: Betta usually live only 3 years or so. From what I've heard most pet stores don't know how old they are to begin with. :( The smaller the betta the younger...if it's already 2-3" than it's mostly likely older.
RIP lil' Betta...now he can play with my betta Seth,

that's good to know about the size of the betta thanks for sharing, I'll keep it it in mind next time, if and when I decide to get another betta. I sure do miss seeing him swim around, so does Misha, apparently..
