Okay, so Tommy's got a new favourite toy: his feather toys. They're feathers at the end of a plastic stick. We have two of them - one is a short pink feather and the other is a long purple feather-thing. He LOVES these toys.

He will jump HIGH in the air when you play with him using these toys, but not only that - he picks them up in his mouth, and carries them around the entire house. :lol: It's funny, because he carries them by the feather - and so the plastic stick is dragging on the floor between his legs. So, when he walks it looks like he's running through tires. :lol:

The funniest thing, though, is his newest habit. When I'm in bed, he will bring one of these toys into my room - all I can hear is the stick dragging on the hardwood floor - and then he'll jump on me in the bed, and drop it there. It's a new habit of his - and it's so funny! This morning I woke up and Tommy was sprawled out beside me, and what's at my feet? The feather toy! :giggle:

Suzie is like that with her tail teaser toy. You can hear her go down the stairs with it and into any room. It also has one of those little bells, so if I find it, all I have to do is shake the wand and Suzie will be in there within 10 seconds! :lmao:

Digger brings me crinkle balls....I wake up and usually there is one or two crinkle balls on my bed.... :lmao:

I can totally relate! Tessie's favorite toy is this thing I got them for Christmas. It's a long piece of fleece on a stick ... and it sounds like a bird when you move it around. OR if the kitty jumps on it. :shock: It's cute ... but when Tessie drags it into my room in the middle of the night ... :pullhair: :rotfl: :luv1:

My cats love them, and I had my sister's cat for a while last year and he fell in love with them. I bought him his own and he carries it around the house with him, upstairs and down, and sleeps with it and everything. It's like a security blanket, lol!

He's at my mom's house right now (long story) and everytime I go over there he brings it to me and drops it at my feet because he knows I'll play. :rotfl:

Dude loves the feather toys. Big time. I think if he was still running around outside as a stray he'd be a bird-killin' MACHINE. I got him a new one that we just got in at our store, it was one of those feather "boa" types with a squeaker in it. Guess how long it took him to kill the squeaker? ONE DAY. :rolleyes:

Mine love those stick toys, too. We hide them when they're not playing so they don't lose interest.
