Dylan is such a character! I have not known a cat like him.

He has a favourite game of "boo" when he is hyped up. I often ruffle the quilt up on the bed, and he sits one side whilst I hide on the other, and I poke my head up saying "boo". After a couple of time he will jump on my head playfully then scoot off into the other room. Then it all starts again round the door frame. He is fascinated by it.

My boyfriend was playing this with him last night - Dylan was on top of his scratching post and my boyfriend was just outside the door. I started talking to Dylan so he turned round and he didn't see my boyfriend creeping up on him. He touched his back gently and said"boo" to which Dylan jumped, spun round, meowed in his face and proceeded to scowl at him for the next ten minutes! My boyfriend and I were killing ourselves laughing.

Anyone else do silly things like this?

Yeah.... Digger is the character in this house... although, Smudgie does some pretty funny stuff too. He'll come up to you and just stand and stare at you...and then like lightening, he's gone tearing down the hall....to no where!!!! :rotfl:

:rotfl: Tinkerbell does something like that. We call it hide-and-go-seek. I'll run to another room and start poking my head around the wall and she goes crazy watching me...and then I'll pull back and she'll come get me. Then I run and do it again. We'll do it around furniture and everything, she's loved it since she was a kitten.

None of the other cats really get into it....they just come over for lovin'.

My husband invented a game he plays with The DustBunny. It's the "Nerds game". You know the little candies, right? Nerds? Well, he throws them all the way across the house, one at a time. When she hears it land on something she runs around and hunts for it. She's gotten to where she loves that game so much she'll come running from anywhere in our apartment if she hears him pick up the Nerds box. And yes, I find little neon-colored pellets all over the place when I clean.

Dusty also has a liking for coming over to me and wanting to be held when I'm on the computer. She's sitting here with me right now!

Kit N. goes completely nutso if you scratch on the underside of the kitty perch while she's in it. She'll flop over onto her side, and spin completely around the edges while she tries to get at your finger under the bottom of the perch.

We used to play that game with Dude where you move your hands or feet under a blanket, it was funny because he pounces so hard, but he also bites your hand as hard as he can! :ack:

Mimi loves to play Hide 'n Seek in the sheets. Any time you start messing with the bed-to make it, take the sheets off or put them on-Mimi can hear them rustle form anywhere in the house and comes running. That cracks me up. Danielle tries to sneak and get the sheets back to her room before Mimi realizes and then shut the door to keep her out. It takes forever to make the bed while Mimi 'helps'.

I have a spot in the living room that we always do Beauty Shop (grooming) in. It's the only clear spot of carpeting, so it's also where i do stretches and anything else that requires me to be on the floor.

Anytime I sit in the Beauty Shop, Beaubo comes running and pases in front of me so I'll brush him. He has this pose-his front and back legs are kind of spread head to tail, and he points his face down. He loves his Beauty Shop! :lmao:

Star tries to get at the large water bubbles that form when you dispense water from the Sparkletts dispenser we have. The one we have is the third one from the top (our Sparkletts dispenser). It doesn't matter where Star is at in the house, as soon as he hears the "glub, glub, glub", he will jump up on the only cat tree we have and will stick his paw behind the bottle to get to the water...Silly kitty.

I laugh when my cats, usually Marley, randomly tear around the apartment. It will be quiet, and everyone minding their own business and Marley busts out in a terror and runs rampant around meowing! :wha: :lmao:

Dylan does that too! If you bang the bottom of his scratcher he'll go mental flopping about :rotfl:

Elizabeth, it is cute...except for the time he managed to knock the bottle off of the dispenser. :ack: Luckily one of litter boxes is next to the dispenser, so most of the water was absorbed by kitty litter...but UGH!! It was a bitch to clean up. Try dumping a brick of kitty litter instead of few clumps here and there--NOT FUN.

But I can't stay mad at this face. He's my snuggle bum.

Danielle told me about something Bubby (Brudder) did.

Brudder loves his rubs, and he loves to lick and and would bite, like they bite fleas off of eat other, with their front teeth gnawing really close to your skin. It hurts when he does it, so every time he would do it I would say "Ow!" really loud and pretend to cry.

Brudder is a really smart cat, so he caught on really fast and stopped flea biting me.

He was up on Danielle's bed and she started rubbing him. He was so overcome with bliss that he needed to flea bite. Knowing flea biting is unpleasant for humans, he reached around and started licking and flea biting her pillow.

I love that little man so much. He tickles me to death.
