Title: My 80g Angelfish tank..I mean 120g

Allie - May 8, 2007 02:32 PM (GMT)
:jump: I finally got my tank set up over the weekend. Yesterday I got a bunch of tetra and another angelfish. I'm getting some more plants, 2 more angels and 2 Bristlenose Plecos then it will be finished. :) Oh and some more sand to hide the blue gravel it won't go away. I keep getting more silica sand and the blue gravel still pops out.

Ooh, great work!

I can't wait to get fish. In high school Erik worked at a water garden center and set me up with a nice tank and I loved it. I'm waiting for him to come home to get fish so I don't screw anything up - he's the expert. :)

Are you happier with the angelfish than you were with the cichlids?

Here is an interesting fact..Angelfish are South American Cichlids so are Discus fish My Webpage
and yes it's less stressful to watch this tank.

With African cichlids they are very territorial and nasty (the males) when it's breeding time. I couldn't stand seeing those beautiful fish tear each other apart and they even killed one too. :( I guess the more mature they get the nastier they get.

I have wanted Angels since I was a kid but I heard they were hard to keep :wha: They have been easy as pie the past 2 months. I love this tank.

That picture of Sunny is too funny!

I'd love to have a fish tank, but I fail miserably at the upkeep.

The up keep is the fun part for me & Ty. Sunny died of a disease last summer :(
