Took Lilly to the vet today because there has been mucus coming from her anus. THey drained her anal glands.... I was worried about her, but they said she is fine now and made me leave the room when they drained the glands.. and I was sitting out in the waiting room and hearing her screem... I just plugged my ears... Anyways, shes doing fine now and Im glad I took her.

We've had a couple kitties (not current ones) go thru that. It's much better for them. Our girl Misty had impacted anal glands and they started weeping all over...we finally took her in and found out that's what it was...so from then on we monitored everyone carefully. Fiber in their diet helps.

Also if they 'scoot' on the carpet, it's probably an indication that there's something going on back there. :(
