:bawling: I cannot believe I am posting this!! My Pickles is gone. He was sick since last night...panting, straining to pee...peeing in front of the litter box. I was watching TV when suddenly I heard Pickles YELL in pain...I went in to see what was up and he was seizing...then he was limp. I picked him up and he let out what sounded like a sigh. :bawling: This sucks. Poor Pickle Puss....now tell me if those previous owners didn't know he was ill...he was hiding all the time.
I am so mad, sad and relieved at the same time....he didn't seem to suffer long...at least he was in a nice quite kid free home for the last month of his life.

Im soo sorry to hear that Allie. He went soo soon and too soon. Did you take him to the vet after he passed? I always wonder if your pet passes at home, what you would do.

Yup...you pay a fee and they take care of the rest for you. Some places will do it for free but it's a very hot day so we wanted his body out of here. I feel so baad for him. :bawling:

Thanks guys...it seems he had FLUTD. Which if treated early...well no point on saying that...those owners were clueless.
His collar was so tight that we couldn't even put a finger under the collar to grasp it to cut it off. :mad:

I am sooo upset...

I was talking to Pickles previous owners a few hours ago...she is very surprised about this...but she did tell me that Pickles was eating Hills Science Diet for the past 6 years until 8 months ago...umm wasn't that about the time the recall was? I told her it was on the list...I"m not sure what formula she was using but...it can't be a coincidence.
I didn't have the money for an autopsy otherwise I would have gotten it done just to see what happened.
She was more upset than I was of course she had him for over 6 years. :( We all feel horrible....I had a good cry earlier. :bawling: Even tho he was only here a month I still expect to see him in certain areas of the house. :thumbsdown: This sucks...but at least I have an idea what happened to him. Another case to add to the recalled food death toll. :mad:

I am so sorry!! :bawling: He was way too young to go. Please know that he has Tabby and many other kitties at the Rainbow Bridge looking after him! :rbkitty:

Yeah, that was me. Allie, I am so, so, so sorry for the loss of your beloved Pickles. I don't know what else to say other than my heart goes out to you and your fur-family. How are they taking it? Has anyone noticed anything odd?

The fur kids haven't noticed it seems... :wha: They are staying out of their room (it's where he died) except to use the litter boxes. He was only here for a month...so unfortunately they probably won't care if he is gone. Milo has been more kissy with me tho.

Thanks all for your kind words. I do feel better today...I feel like I failed him somehow. I do know it happened so fast that we barely got a chance to realize what was going on.
