On Feb 10th 2006 I brought Yayo home with my from the Animal Rescue League here in Saint John. He was my first (MY CAT) all before him were taken care of by my mom. He quickly became a member of my family and quickly nicknamed the OLD MAN. I was told when I adopted him that he was only 5 I found out later that he was closer to 11 when i brought him to the vet for a check up.


I can Still remember the day I found him. Those big BLUE/GREEN eyes staring me down as I visited the other cats at the Animal Rescue League.


He was so loving and such a good cat.


On April 6th MIDNIGHT Yayo's hip was broken by another cat belonging to my roommate colleen. I called the emergency vet number and by 1230 he was being looked at by the vet.

The following day Yayo had surgery while I waited to hear if he was ok I go a tattoo in his honor!



recieved the call that the surgery was fine.





3 months later, the pin came through the bone and the vet told me that now there was nothing I can do. his bone crumbled!


I brought him to the Animal Rescue League where we had him euthanized.

I miss him So much still

It's the weirdest thing that you happened to have posted this...
Last night, I told Jake that he reminded me of your Yayo...but black....they had the same sweet mouth.
