Title: Holiday Casualties

prettykitty - December 10, 2006 11:00 PM (GMT)
Well there's 15 more days 'til Christmas...Yep, that's right folks.. :ack: and already one of my x-mas decorations is now among the casualties... :( Even though I thought I had all the fragile stuff up too high, Misha managed to smash one of my favorite glass blown balls.. :(

grr! that stinks!! Ours sits here behind me undecorated, just lights and an angel on top. Maybe we should keep it that way. ;)

Here is my daughters Holiday nightmare :giggle: She has 2 beautiful babies who are 7 months old.. The day after she sent these, they actually knocked the whole tree down right before she went to work :lmao:

You know, mine haven't done anything with the decorations. My concern is that my holiday casualty will be Abbey's intestinal tract! If she keeps eating the tree!!!!!

No tree here! So no casualties for me. :duh: My heart goes out to all who do experience Christmas tree casualties, though! :lmao:

When I was over at Mom's today it was her big oaf of a dog that kept knocking the decorations off the tree! :rotfl:

I must be the lucky one, because Cindy just slinks around the tree and completely ignores it as if it doesn't exist.

Moogy is a perfect angel when it comes to the Christmas tree (but she wasn't the first Christmas she spend with us tough... ) but Keiko and Pixelle would be a nightmare if I put one up... so this year it's just a few decorations high enough so they can't reach them... so I thought... I tried to hang jiggle bells on a wall a Pixelle suddenly grew springs on her legs... she was bouncing three feet in the air to try and catch them... I wish I had my camera in my hands at that moment...

I just have to add to this that while my gaurds were down this morning (my neck is severely hurt), I rushed out the door to grocery shop. Well, usually I put the Beeper's and Mandy in our bedroom, but I didn't this time. Guess what......about 8 ornaments were on the floor went I got home. Amazingly none were borken....I still don't know how they managed that one! :lmao:

I spoke to someone over at the Humane Society, she said she was actually going to be doing a class on this next week... :lmao: :rotfl: anyways, one of her suggestion was to mist the bottom branches, (not the cat), :) with a light coating of either lemon or bitter apple, makes sense, but; don't know about anyone else but; I really don't want my Christmas tree to smell like lemons....
