Someone called my parents this morning at 3am...they found Rocky who was in very bad shape underneath the deck. He was dehydrated, full of diabetes and old. Animal control came & got him. My parents went to see him. he was in an incubator. Dad said he looked terrible....so they had to put him down. :bawling:
Poor guy was out there for 8 days in the cold and it snowed. I cannot believe he was still alive. :shock: He was losing all his senses b/c of the diabetes. Poor fella. :comfort:
I feel horrible, I wish we had of looked harder.

At least your parents found out what became of him - such a shame he was so :comfort: poorly.

Oh that's awful that he was so sick at the end. Allie, you guys looked, you did all you could :comfort: But at least now you can all have some closure, and at least your parents got to see him one last time.

I'm soooo sorry! But you know what, I'm so glad you guys found him and were able to be with him in his last moments. I know that's a lot better know than always having a 'what if' and him dying alone.

:shock: :( How very sad indeed. But I'm with Crystal, at least he was found before he passed. He was able to go peacefully and warm, instead of painfully and cold. :comfort:

He was so dehydrated his nose was crusty. :( He was found on the street behind theirs. :coocoo:
Yes I am SO glad we know what happened and have closure.
