I have had the girls on Calorie Control since the summer but we are under a tight budget this week as we just bought a vechicle and a bag is 25 dollars but what I am asking if it would hurt to feed them a bag of grocery store brands until next week. I used to feed them friskies but would that upset Lillys bowel movements as she has anal glands problems, or should I get a weight management food at the grocery store or would it hurt them to feed them friskies or whiskas for a week?

The problem would be the sudden change of foods, its usually best to make a gradual change by mixing the new food with what they are used to eating. They could possibly get diarrhea or upset stomachs. On the other hand they may eat it and have no side effects at all. Changing for a week should be no problem otherwise.
