Title: Little Ed's trip to the vet

As some of you may know Little Ed has been having some bladder related issues and urinating in very inappropriate places. So we took him to the vets today so the could do a urinalysis. He didn't pee for them until later in the afternoon (he was so sad and scared).
The urine looked good to the vet, but when he magnified it he noticed red blood cells, which he believes are from his bladder lining due to stress. So he is now on one medication to repair the lining, another medication for anxiety (he will be on this one for life if it works) and we were also given a pheramone spray that we are to use all over the house daily. So fingers crossed.
He also advises using a pheramone spray when introducing a new cat to your home where you already have other cats. It calms everyone down and helps prevent you cats beating on the new guy!

I use Comfort Zone plugin with Feliway (pheromones) for my kitties. Even though Marley is no longer with us, I still use it.

The most AMAZING thing happened last night! I was in bed and Little Ed came around to my side, let out a little "hello", jumped up and fell asleep on my foot. He NEVER EVER sleeps on the bed!! I was so in shock and happy I literally had tears coming down my face.
Brandon came up to bed later and said Ed and Timm were laying face to face at the foot of the bed cleaning each other and then fell asleep head to head!!
And this morning he jumped up on the bed, purring like crazy to wake me up!
I am sooooo excited and happy right now! Next is to watch and see over time if he stops urinating outside the litter box!

We use this as well, it works great.
