Thought I would share this. I have wood floors. I also have a couple area rugs. This works great for picking up hair. Its like a huge lint brush, which I also have. :)

Another great tip for getting pet hair off your furniture is put on a rubber glove, dampen it and run it across your furniture. All the pet hair sticks to it.
