Title: Exciting news...

I have a step kitty! :luv2:

My boyfriend Dana, and his kitty, Nova, are moving in. It's all very exciting and sudden, but I couldn't be happier. At first I was apprehensive about bringing Nova here, especially with the trouble I had introducing Frankie, but so far, VERY good.

Dana brought Nova over last night and put him in my room. Right away he started exploring, sniffing, acting silly. You could tell he wanted out of the room right away, and that my kitties wanted to check out what was in the bedroom. We decided to try to bring in Osiris, where he is the most laid back of my kitties, and see how Nova would react. Oh my goodness guys, it was SO cute! They were both a little nervous, but you could tell that both just really wanted to play! They were making the cutest noises at each other! So then we decide to stand guard and leave the bedroom door open so the other cats could take a peek. Of course there was the standard hissing, but all in all it went very well. Nova has a lot of things going for him.

1) He is still young. (About 9 months old.)
2) He is a SUPER sweet kitty.
3) He's very outgoing and curious.
4) He was totally submissive to the other cats, and didn't try to challange them.

I have the day off today, so first on the list is to take him to the vet to be vacinated, and then to make an appointment to have him neutered. Wish us luck! :jump:

Thank you ladies!

So far the introductions are going so well! Nova is such an adorable kitty... He's not scared of the other cats at all, and has been running around here trying to instigate the others in play. So far, none of them are interested however. :rotfl: There's been no agression out of the normal hissing and establishing the new order of things, and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm sure they will all be best of friends in no time! :luv2:
