As I'm building up the newest version of Curious Cat Central, I will be adding advertisements for a couple who make high quality cat toys. They are always at the bi-annual cat show I go to here in Cleveland and I own pretty much at least one of every toy they sell. Their toys are absolutely wonderful, much better quality than a lot of the toys found in stores, and my cats love them. The best part is that they're reasonably priced, too.

"Flying Bunny Bird"
Price: $6.00
This is our most popular toy. It is a must have for kittens and cats in all stages of life. It is a great exerciser for the energetic kitten, or a motivator for the overweight cat. And it is also great for the senior cats that needs a cardiac workout. All of the colorful feathers are individually glued into the end of a fur mouse which is in turn sewn onto one end of an approximately 30 inch leather strap. The strap is then attached to a 16 inch stick.
"Tail"

This toy is also pretty popular because of it's length and durability. Each toy varies in length depending on the rabbit pelt but generally they are about 16 inches long. Again, the feathers on the end are all individually glued before attaching them to the end of the fur. The "tail" along with a bell is then attached to a 16 inch stick.
"Snap-A-Rat"

Another durable toy that has a fur mouse with a leather tail that is sewn to an elastic coil. Again, the stick is 16 inches in length.
"Bunny Stick"

Another strong toy that has six tri-colored strips of rabbit fur that is attached to a 16 inch stick.
"Ribbons in Fur"

This toy has nine colorful cloth ribbons in the center of a stationary mouse. The length of this stick is 12 inches long.

This toy also is on a 12 inch stick. The bell on this toy is in the center of the stationary fur mouse.

The Tug-A-Rat has a fur mouse with leather tail sewn onto each end of an elastic coil. This toy after monitoring your cats activity can be safely left out for your cat to play with while you are not at home. The Hook-A-Rat has one fur mouse with tail sewn onto one end of an elastic coil. The other end has a hook that can be attached to a scratching post with an eye hook.

From the upper left, "Spyder" - This has a fur body that is glued to pipe cleaner legs. "Bunny Bird" - Just like the Flying Bunny Bird with the exception on the stick and the length of the leather strap. This strap is five to six inches long. This toy can be left out for your cats enjoyment after monitoring. "K-Tip" - Imagine an ear swab but instead of cotton at each end you have a fur plume. "Mouse" - A simple rabbit fur mouse with a leather tail. Another toy to leave out for your cat to pounce on. Completely safe even if they decide to eat it.
