I meant to post this on Thursday when it happened. Oooops.

******************************************************************
Earlier today, I was in my daughter's room talking to her. We both were hearing a pitiful meowing. We looked at each other and said "Star" at the same time. My boy was calling me, so I called out, "Mommy's up here, baby." But the pitiful meowing continued, so I called out again, "Star, Mommy's up here. It's okay." Still more pitiful meowing, so I go downstairs, saying, "Star, it's okay. Here comes Mommy." I then heard a meow that was the equivalent of "Really??" I get downstairs and I pick up Star and say, "It's okay, baby. Mommy's here. Let's go sit on the couch, okay honey?" I sit on the couch, cross my legs Indian-style, and put Star in my lap. As soon as I did that, he started purring up a storm and head-butting my hand, asking for ear, head and chin skritches.
My baby missed me and wanted me to be with him. I feel so loved. :luv2: :luv2: :luv2: I love all my cats, but I swear, Star just melts my heart...and he knows it, too.
As soon as I typed this, guess who comes and gets in my lap? Yep, my baby. He's Mama's boy. :luv2: :luv2:
