Title: Bad Dreams

Crystal - March 27, 2009 11:51 PM (GMT)
Lately I've been having horrible dreams about losing my cats, and about Tinkerbell dying. A lot of times it's that they got out of the house and I'm trying to round up all of them but there's too many for me to grab. Almost always there's someone there with me that won't help, too.

I guess it's just because I'm upset that she and Fig just turned 7...it seems like just yesterday we found Tinky as a kitten in our backyard.

I end up waking up crying in the middle of the night and go find whatever cat I lost or was hurt in my dream just to make sure they're okay.

Sigh.

That's happened to me before too - and I know what you mean about having to go find the cats for a hug!

The little baby I've brought up since she was 8 weeks old turns 10 this year - but she's only used up two of her nine lives so she still has seven left, so I think she'll be with me for a while longer yet! :)

My worst fear in the world is coming home to find something bad has happened to the cats......

 I hate bad dreams about our cats.
I too wake up and have to do a head count. :duh:

It happened to me twice in the last few months... I felt so sad... :(

Don't worry about your babie's age Crystal... Moogy will be 13 soon and she's doing fine... she even chases the others around the house and still runs when she's climbing the stairs :) Tink and Fig are still young and you may still have many years with them... :kittyluv:

Yeah, I try to remember that so many people have older cats that are just fine. We feed them the best food, they have yearly vet visits, and we're on top of everything...so they should have good long lives. And even though they both hit 7, they act like they're 2/3/4 - can't tell the difference.

Having younger siblings that are very active also helps... Moogy became more active when I adopted Keiko and Pixelle... they help to keep her young by playing with her :) :kittyluv:
