Title: Feliway - experiences please!

Well it looks like me and the kitties will be moving soon!
All four cats have already been to Andy's - Motley was fine and had taken over the place within a couple of hours! Sparkle is so laid back that he LET Blackie beat him up and then they were friends - and Nikki liked Sparkle so much that she gave him a wash! :luv1:
It's Rosie and Ruby I'm worried about - they were both quite nervous in the new surroundings when I took them before. Do you think getting a Feliway diffuser might make them feel more relaxed in the new surroundings and help them to settle in more easily?
We're already planning on letting them stay in the spare room by themselves for the first couple of days - and any more advice would be much appreciated too!

My sisters moved in together recently. My sister who already lived in the house had plugged in Feliway units because her one cat was having potty issues so she was trying all sorts of things. She has two cats that are BRATS when being introduced to other cats. My sister who was moving in has a cat who is also a brat when being introduced.
Their introductions went so smoothly, it was amazing. These three cats who would all hiss (and the one that would screech so badly) didn't do anything. There was a bit of hissing but nothing huge at all...and after a few days they were all used to each other.
I've also noticed when we had them plugged in here (trying to combat Nala's peeing issue, which really didn't happen), they are a bit more laid back.
I would totally recommend having them - it will help them get used to each other, and help yours get used to the new place.

tried it once for a couple cats who didn't get along real well, didn't do anything. I quit buying it but over time the cats have learned to get along better on their own

I've never used it but I did use a simliar spray when Abbey was having aggression issues and it did work.

It did work for Emma, we went on vacation one yr. and hired cat sitters, when we got back Emma would not come out of the back room or socialize with anyone of us. I bought the Feliway spray and only after using the spray did she come out of it, I wish I had thought of the spray sooner it took her a while to get back to normal.
