Title: How does he look to you?
Description: Milo pix

Allie - April 30, 2009 04:34 PM (GMT)
Here are some shots of Milo from yesterday. Jake too. ;)
I noticed his left eye is watery in some of the shots I took. So giving him the fluid now isn't a bad idea considering his situation.

He definitely looks on the thin side (as expected from what you've said), but he looks good! :kittyluv:

Good to hear...he looks thin now... But not as bad as before we knew what was wrong.

Yes, he still looks thin, but more relaxed. Before he was kind of curled tightly (meatloaf position), and the recent pictures he just seems more at ease. But it just could have been the day. :duh: Sometimes my cats lay in the balled up meatloaf position (paws tucked in).

Yeh he DOES look more relaxed doesn't he? There's something healthier-looking about his eyes too despite the different lighting conditions! :)

I've never heard it called the "meatloaf position" before but that works! I call that the "cat with no legs" pose!

I agree on all accounts. Also, if he didn't feel well, he'd be hiding and wouldn't want the others (i.e. Jake) to be around him. I think he looks good!

:jump: Yay. Glad you guys can see that. I am reading into every little change in him.
Ty also said he use to be around us all the time. Except for the past year...which is probably when his kidneys started to fail on him.

I call them my loafs of bread.
There is huge difference in his eyes for sure. In the before diagnoses pix his eyes were dry and full of eye crap. He hasn't got yucky eyes since. :)

He is eating on a regular basis. Mostly wet food lately...which is good for him. I put extra water in it. :)
Today he ate it twice plus some dry food. I found a beige hairball yesterday am...that is why he was feeling yucky. He had a big ol' hair ball.
I have just got to get use to his new moods. I am doing all I can for him right now, meds for his heart, one keep the phosphorus level down, and one to lower the toxins which the kidneys produce and he can't flush on his own. SQ fluids once a week for now, probably twice once we get more of his CRF stuff. He is drinking a lot of water.
He still won't sleep in the bedroom, it's been almost 2 weeks. :wha: I guess he figures he has spent too much time in there over the past year. ;)
