Since we're having such a hard time naming our kitten.....

How did you name your cats?

Midnight was already named when I got her. Star got his name because of the way his little face looked when he was born.

Lucky was so named because when he was born, he was barely breathing and had a weak heartbeat. I had to suction the fluid and rub his little body to get his heart beating.

Motley just looked like a Motley as she has motley markings.

Sparkle was called Bacardi when he first came to me as his original owner wanted to get a black cat too and call it "Coke" - I changed his name to Sparkle cos of his sparkly personality, and also because I love sparkly things!

Rosie just seemed to suit the name - it's after the AC/DC song "Whole Lotta Rosie".

Ruby was so little and delicate she needed something girly sounding - her full name is Ruby Delilah.

Moogy and Keiko were named after Star Trek caracters, Pixelle was named like that because we tought she would be a Tortie point and Sundae got that named because she looked like a little caramel ice cream sundae ;)

Hehe....we were not 100% certain if Lola was a boy or girl since she was a skittish little stray when we got her. So we named her Lola after the song, Lola. You know..."walks like a woman but talks like a man, Lola, la-la-la-la-Lola" :lmao:

Then we decided to stick with musical related names....Abbey after the Beatles Abbey Road.
