For people with multiple cats......
Does the heirarchy shift regularly? Or is there just one reigning top cat?

I have 2 who are always vying for the top cat spot, Shadey and Imhotep. I THINK it is Imhotep because Shadey will usually back down to him, but Shadey is pretty dominate.

Since Milo has passed on things have been changing with the rest. Jake is becoming more dominant. The girls will move out of his way with the food dish, like they all did when Milo was around. Lucky has calmed down a bit and is excepting the fact that Jake can take her out now. He has finally got a backbone. Poor Georgie still is the runt even tho she put on some weight.
Jake and Lucky will probably fight for the top cat position for awhile.

We have several top cats, but THE top cat is Loki. An outsider probably wouldn't even think he's the top cat since he likes to chill and generally doesn't pick on anyone. But if you study how the other cats interact with him, you'll see that they all know he's in charge. He's the one cat that NO one had ever even tried to mess with. They all just know to respect him. The one or two times someone has tried to disrespect him he schooled them. But overall he just chills and is respected. I believe he had lieutanants to keep the order. :rotfl:

Murphy is the king. Merlin and Myra will eat each others food but they dont touch Murphy's. They also follow Murphy's lead to wake me up in the morning. Murphy will play the messages on my answering machine in the morning.

Our late Eskimoe was the leader of the house. But since he's been gone, no one has really stepped up. Hannah *thinks* she's the boss of everyone though. :lmao: I guess Cody is the closest to being the top kid.

It's been Motley vs Nikki since we merged households - until CC turned up and took over out of nowhere.
Then the other night, Motley and Nikki actually teamed up to put CC in her place - Nikki swiped CC over towards Motley, who then swiped CC right out of the room! :rotfl:
Now it's back to Nikki vs Motley again...... :rolleyes:
