Well, I've found a vet that will neuter, vaccinate, and test for FIV/FeLV/worms for $94.50 (if he has fleas) or $87.50 (if he doesn't have fleas). I have about half of the money now and will have the other half a week from today. I can schedule the appointment for next Wednesday. However, since Christmas is Friday, we'll be going to my mom and dad's house to celebrate (they're about an hour away from us). We'll probably leave here at about noon and probably get back around 8 or 9). Would it be okay to leave Smokey in my son's room for that long? He would have his bed and his cat tree (my other cats lost interest in so it's been in the garage and Smokey has claimed it). My other cats will have free roam of the rest of the house like they always do. I really don't want to wait until after the holiday to have him tested and neutered, but at the same time, I don't want him, or my other cats, to be stressed. Any ideas?
Yes, he'll be fine. If anything, it's even better to have him alone in a seperate room while he's recovering from his neuter.
