Or 5 to be exact. ;) So I bring Mojo into the ARL to have his shots so that he's all ready to go to his new forever home, and right behind me comes this couple with a box of 5, 5-6 week old kittens who were left by their Mom. They're eatting on their own and everything but too young to be adopted out...so guess who has 5 new fosters?!? I couldn't just leave them there to get sick. ;)

These are my "Precious Gems". The light beige male is Topez, the orange male is Emerald, the grey calico is Jade, the black calico is Onyx and the grey one with the stripe on her nose is Diamond. I think Diamond and Topez are my favorites so far. All of the females have "cattitude" and hiss occasionally. :rotfl: They're all settled into their room playing, eatting and having a great time though. Teyah took right to them and is mothering them, SO cute! :luv1: :luv2: :luv1:

Topez and Emerald look cheeky - they both have a very distinctive "M" (for monster....?) on their heads!

Callie is a calico-tabby mix and she's very wild looking...they're going to get homes in no time.

The kittens have settled in quite nicely. :) They're all very active, playful and adorable. :luv2: I walked in last night to find my foster cat, Teyah, nursing the 2 boys! She has completely adopted these babies! :luv1: I also have friends interested in adopting Emerald and I hope it works out. They live about an hour and a half away though, so it would depend on if they are willing to go through the application process. Keeping my fingers crossed! :thumbsup:

I am so incredibly happy right now. As of today, the only kitten who has yet to be spoken for is little Jade. The rest of the kittens all have loving forever homes waiting for them, and I'm sure that little Jade will find her new home soon! :jump: :jump:
