Title: 2 New Fosters
Description: GRRRRRR

TxnKats - January 10, 2007 06:55 PM (GMT)
Okay, lets talk about my day a bit....

David has this friend from work, K. K is a great guy, I like him a lot. He loves animals and can never turn away one in need. Hence he has 4 rescued dogs (3 of which are Huskies) and 6 rescued kitties. Well, K is married to L. To put it mildly L is a bitch (pardon my language), but there's no other way to describe her. She really is just NOT a nice person at all. I could go on and on about her, but won't, just trust me, she is not nice...

Well, K is out of town this week for work. So, today we get a call from L saying she has two cats that she wants to get rid of. (these were 2 of their 6) Her message basically said "they want too much attention, either they go to new homes or I put them to sleep, I don't have time to look for new homes for them, so I figured since ya'll are major cat lovers you won't want them put to sleep, so if you want them, come get them, or they get put to sleep tomorrow". GRRRRRR BITCH! Yeah, perfect reason to put down cats...they are too loving! GRRRR I cannot stand this woman! I love how she waited to do this until K was out of town. GRRRR I'm sure she was just ready to put them down and K begged her to call us...

So, ya'll know me...there's no way either David or I could let her kill the cats...so this afternoon we drove across town to get them. They are both solid black DSH, Morgan is 3 years old and Emmitt is 2 years old. They are upstairs in the guest room now. Since they were indoor/outdoor cats I'm going to treat them for fleas here in a bit (once they calm down more) and Thursday or Friday take them to get tested for FIV and FeLV.

They both seem like really sweet boys, just a bit nervous in a new place, so we'll go from here.....Anyone want a couple of sweet boys? :rotfl:

We really don't need anymore to take care of right now, but they needed us, so they are safe! I'll get pictures as soon as I can...

Yikes, what a bitch! Do you think there's a chance K will want to take them back after he gets back in town?

Susan - January 10, 2007 08:18 PM (GMT)
What a bitch!

I was wondering the same thing Crystal is.

I'm sure he would love to have them, but condiering how L controls and treats K, I doubt he'll try and get them back...L has spoken afterall....

Trust me, I wanted to slap the tar out of her!!!

Well, the kitties are doing okay. Emmitt is out of hiding and has settled in the room nicely. He is SUCH a love bug! Morgan is still in hiding and a bit growly, but I think he'll calm down.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
JJ, it's ok that you called her a bitch, because she is a bitch. How can anyone do that! The cats are too loving so I want to give them away or else I'll put them to sleep?!?!?!? :coocoo:
It's great that you and David took them, JJ!
I still can't imagine why someone would want to do this!

Jessica - January 11, 2007 01:03 AM (GMT)
What a bitch. Plain and simple. "I'd like to put YOU to sleep for being such an uncaring bitch, L! How's about that?"

Thank you for saving them, JJ!

I love that idea...

So, JJ, care to post her address for us? ;)

msrealdoll - January 12, 2007 06:12 AM (GMT)
I'd worry about them going back there to live with the likes of her. No telling how she treated them if she was willing to kill them for no good reason.user posted image

JJ, you're a good egg. user posted image I'm sorry she did that to you, but I'm so glad you were there and took them in. You saved their little lives. Racking up those karma bonus points, you are!user posted image

There ought to be some sort of law-or some recourse you could take through civil court to sue people that behave this way. You shouldn't be allowed to just stop taking care of them simply because you don't feel like it anymore. She should be fined, or forced to shovel shit at the local shelter.

But, since that's just a pipe dream, I'll settle for her address and Rita's idea of sending her big bags of turds. That would make me feel a bit better. ;)

You're an angel, JJ. user posted image

Trust me, if the woman wasn't married to someone who is technically David's superior at work...then I'd give everyone their address! :neener:

I just don't how certain people can treat animals like they are nothing :pullhair: I'm not a fan of birds but you don't see me out there with a pellet gun shotting them.
It reminds me of a story of a friend of Ty's...he broke up with his girlfriend b/c she was :coocoo: :ack: ...what does she do? Burn down his home with his pit bull & cats in the house.
