Yeah, I have problems with Petfinder, too, but even more so visiting my local Humane Association, Petsmart, and Pet Supplies Plus, because I always come away wishing I could adopt one of the cats I saw there.

One thing I have noticed at our local SPCA is there is always different cats on their site and at the shelter...they always have people adopting cats and dogs...the sad part is there is always more to take their spots. It's low kill shelter...I volunteered there 10 years ago now (boy am I old) and they only put the really sick/crazy animals to sleep...thank goodness there aren't too many crazy animals around. I would like to get another cat, not a kitten. I think budget wise in the long run the rats would have to go for me to get another kitty. Rat food is as much as cat food if not more for 2kgs. I may be puttingup my rats for adoption. I haven't been playing with them enough. I have a few thing to consider but...if I were to get a kitty this gurl would be first on my list to see.

Awesome!!! When are ya gonna get one??
First I'm gonna look around at our shelters, I prefer to get one from a shelter. For many reasons one being that the neutering/spaying, vet check up de-worming and all the tests they need comes with the payment. It was $100 when we were looking before we found Lucky.
