Baby Oscars, new fishies :)

Resident Fish Geek Group: Members Posts: 3,432 Member No.: 66 Joined: 18-December 06	We have started a baby Central/South American cichild tank, 32g...we wanted baby fish for now. We are selling the piranhas finally and will be using the 120g tank for when the babies grow up. We have 2 Oscars, 3 Firemouths, a male convict and an albino convict/jade eye hybrid. Here's Tigger, a Red Tiger Oscar Both Oscars are about 2" now but can be at least 14" when full grown. I had one that was trained to jump out of the water and take food from my hand They grow so fast...I bet in a year you'll have a couple of 8 or 9 inch big boys! Congrats on the fishies!! ps. beware, they will eat anything they can fit in their mouths (other fish)! --------------------

Oh yeah I've heard that...which is why none of their tank mates will be under 6"

Taz's fins were nipped up badly from Tigger. Soooo, of course we had to sell them to someone else who could handle their aggression.
